Here are my opinions.
- The kid wants a gaming computer, but heads straight for the Mac Books? While Macs can play games, the majority of the games are on the Windows platform. The kid seems to know enough about computers to know this.
- Another thing about gaming is that laptops aren't designed for gaming but they do ok for light gaming, the kid never stated this and had me confused. Or he could have gotten a gaming laptop.
- They have $1500 budget, they could have gotten a high spec gaming desktop for that price and still have $500 left for his mum to get a computer.
- He wanted blu-ray what is the point when you can buy HD content from netflix (in the US), blu-ray movies are twice as much as a normal DVD.
- I can see the advantage with the big screen, but how is he going to take advantage of the screen reolution for games?
- They also got a sony Viao when they could have gotten a cheaper brand and still have all what they need.
So what do you think about gaming on a laptop?
