iPod touch - Have to pay for Applications?

When having a look around the Application store on iTunes, I am shocked to find people asking money to use social networks that you can use for free on your PC/Mac.

Why should you have to pay to make an on-the-go version of a social network, if the official website offers the service for free then why pay for it.

So here are my "work around" and free applications suggestions.

1. TweetDeck - Twitter, Myspace,Facebook,LInkedIn
2. Facebook application - Facebook
3. Last.fm - Last FM application
4. Yahoo IM - Yahoo instant messenger

Other recommended free applications

• Google Application 
• SpeedTest.net - Test your internet speed
• Wikipedia
• Wakoopa
• eBay UK - Can bid&buy from eBay UK
• Photoshop.com application (Yes it's an official Adobe Application and it's free.
