How I record and edit my YouTube videos

A very common question I get on YouTube and now it is getting to the point of annoying. No matter how many people I tell, they never seem to get the message. I've made a page devoted to informing you about what I use to make my videos.

ScreenCasting
Software: BBFlashBackPro
Settings: GDI Mode enabled, autochange to 1280x720 while recording, render using Xvid/Mpeg4 codec or .MOV
These are the settings I use when exporting screencasts, they are typical HD settings that you may encounter on YouTube screen casts.

Example Video.

Editing
Software: SonyVegas Pro 8.0a
Settings: Varies
The setting for editing my video blogs differs from time to time, so it is impossible to give you a solid answer to this, however I can certainly say that I keep using 720p HD when exporting.
I've also used this to edit already exported screen casts, but I found out that it was a waste of time, so I didn't bother with it any more.

Software: Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate
Settings: Varies
This was the first video editing software I've ever used (apart from Movie maker of course) I first used it in High school, and to be honest I am glad that not much has changed since when I used it in High School. I use 720p on all edited videos if it allows me.

Game recoding
Software: Fraps (Newst version)
Settings: Varies depending on game
I used varied settings depending on which game I will be recording. Once I've done recording the videos, I edit them in Sony Vegas.
